This hysterosalpingogram (HSG) image demonstrates a congenital uterine anomaly.
There are two uteri, each with its own fallopian tube. Women with this type of uterine abnormality may have difficulty conceiving or carrying a fetus to term because the uterine cavity is smaller than normal. It may be difficult to differentiate a Uterine Didelphys from a Septate Uterus without an MRI. Unfortunately, there is no treatment for a Uterine Didelphys.
