Tip #55: Tanning


It feels great to lay out in the sun and it’s an easy way to get the vitamin D that your body needs.

However, it is important that you wear sunscreen so that you don’t get too much sun exposure and increase your risk for skin cancer. During pregnancy, it is also more common to get dehydrated if you lay out for a while. So, if you are tanning, make sure that you drink plenty of water.
